# CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift)

Cumulative Layout Shift is a Core Web Vitals metric that measures visual stability. It captures how much page content unexpectedly shifts as the page loads. Google recommends a CLS score below 0.1. Analytics scripts that load synchronously or inject elements can worsen CLS.
