# Custom Event

A custom event is an action tracked on your website beyond a standard pageview. Examples include button clicks, form submissions, file downloads, video plays, and outbound link clicks. In GhostlyX, custom events are sent using a simple JavaScript call and can be attributed to any conversion goal.
